On Saturday the Speaker of the Ogun state House of Assembly, Suraj Adekunbi in a convoy of his official cars along the Owode-Siun-Abeokuta expressway reportedly ignored victims of a ghastly accident involving two commercial vehicles: a white Nissan Premiere, with registration number LSD 770 BZ and a green Space wagon, with registration number GGE 950CQ.
The Speaker who was heading towards Lagos left onlookers wondering why he failed to lend helping hands to the victims after he drove past the scene even while bodies laid on bare ground and injured victims wreathed in pains. According to an eyewitness, the Speaker peeped at the accident scene through his car window and then ordered his driver to drive on. A team of Ogun State Traffic and Compliance Control arrived the scene early enough and were seen evacuating the victims to hospital.
