The English Football Association has rejected the request of the Super Eagles to play with it national team in an international friendly. Nigerian NFF President Amaju Pinnick was on Tuesday May 5 in London for a private meeting with FA Chairman Greg Dyke.
Amaju Pinnick who was in London at the Wembly Stadium discussed the possibility of both countries facing each other in an exhibition game before the end of 2015 and his desire to foster closer links between the NFF and The FA,’’ The English FA stated on its official website.
‘’Although there are no plans in the foreseeable future for a senior men’s international between England and Nigeria, it was agreed to keep dialogue open between the countries. ‘’
